Samsung Freeform SCH-r350 code ch:30600. What does this mean ? ?

This code appears in the bottom left corner of the screen. The metro pcs phone was given to me and is not activated yet. I took it to the metro store and the guy there says it has a virus, but I think he just wants to sell of a phone. Please only answer if you really know what this code means. Thanks.
