Parking ticket advice?

I received a parking ticket while parked on a single yellow line on a Sunday on a restricted parking street - however there were no signs to indicate you couldn't park on the single yellow. In the area on Alperton in Brent Borough, also the ticket had the incorrect registration number on it - does anyone know if this makes the ticket invalid?
